The Design of Reflected Laser Intensity Testing System and Application of Quality Inspection for Laser Cladding Process

Laser cladding is one of the critical technologies for additive manufacturing and rapid repair. Improving performance by materials process parameters leading research direction, but defects instability quality in are inevitable. Therefore, it necessary to study which factors related quality. In this paper, a new detection method proposed measure radiation intensity reflected laser, laser scanning displacement, temperature substrate while cladding. The characteristic values corresponding position spots extracted, preliminarily evaluated graded, correlation between them verified with machine learning nu-SVM. results show that accuracy model trained 300 groups data predict grades 78.74%, indicates there strong these variables quality, feasible evaluation control process.
